I don't claim to be a political wonk. I am not an expert on the civic institutions that make our country what it is, but when did the forum for debate and discussion regarding public policy become a television ad war?I find the idea that I can learn about a candidate by watching a 30 -60 second TV spot offensive. That's it. I don't have anything more to say about it. I just wish it would stop.
