Baby Jail

Sonja,

This is where we put you when we can no longer hold you. Your boundless energy contained by four soft nylon mesh sides of a pack-n-play. A minimum security prison to be certain. Toys scattered across the prison yard, guards willing to scoop you up and free you and the slightest cry for freedom. Soon you will grow taller and stronger and wiser and we will no longer have the pack-n-play prison/fun-time resort to set you in. Soon it will be your room and eventually your own home. Already time has accelerated past my ability to comprehend.

Love,

Dad
